What is the EVM-XCM Jungle Toolkit?

The EVM-XCM Jungle Toolkit is a collection of several tools, guides, libraries & code snippets allowing developers to create more easily modern cross-chain Polkadot-based dApps leveraging EVM.

A comprehensive guide on how to make Polkadot-based dApps that can easily interact with the EVM ecosystem

The Polkadot ecosystem seems to have a longstanding paradox: its supporters are convinced that its technology is superior, while its detractors will say that dApps are far too difficult to use.

We believe the truth lies somewhere in between. At the intersection of user and technology stands the product-market fit. We're convinced that Polkadot, its parachains and XCM v3 can enable the creation of far more innovative and ambitious dApps than we're currently seeing.

This is why we are here, sharing our technological stack, the Jungle EVM-XCM Toolkit, along with valuable information on how to use it to best effect.

This documentation is the result of a combination of knowledge and technologies from both the EVM and Polkadot ecosystems. Its main purpose is to help developers create easy-to-use cross-chain applications.

To achieve this, there's no need to reinvent the wheel: here we are simply connecting together various pre-existing tools and making them accessible for curious developers.

Whether it's SDKs to facilitate cash movement, wallets adapted to the ecosystem, smart-contracts to facilitate EVM/Substrate mapping or APIs to forge valid XCMs, by being very practical and production-oriented, we believe this toolkit is filling a huge gap in the ecosystem's developers ressources.
